Vivo is working on two new foldables, the S Flip and V Flip

Vivo has registered two new trademarks on the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) website, both of which are likely to refer to future clamshell foldable smartphones called the vivo V Flip and vivo S Flip.

Currently, the company offers a standard foldable smartphone called the vivo X Fold2 and a vertical foldable called the vivo X Flip. Given that these two are the flagship models, it's possible that the future V Flip and S Flip models will be midrange models.

Motorola recently launched its Razr 40 duo, with the vanilla one being a low-cost foldable, and there's a rumor that Samsung is considering making low-cost foldables as well. So the rumor of two low-cost flip phones doesn't seem too far-fetched. Perhaps other OEMs are as well.
